These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the website and services offered by The Space Agency (“TSA”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing this website, booking consultations, or purchasing products or services, you agree to these terms.
1. About The Space Agency
The Space Agency is an interior design studio offering design consultations, interior design services, procurement and sourcing, styling and finishing services, and curated home products and furnishings. The studio works with clients locally and internationally through a digital-first service model designed for flexibility and global collaboration.
2. Consultation Services
Consultations are professional advisory sessions intended to provide clarity, direction, and strategic guidance prior to any design engagement. They may cover design direction, layout and spatial planning, budget frameworks, and service recommendations.
Consultations are offered in the following formats: virtual, in-person, developer or multi-unit, styling, and express design reviews.
Fees
All consultation fees are billed in USD and are non-refundable. Availability is subject to scheduling and approval, and submission of a consultation request does not guarantee project acceptance.
Credit Toward Design Services
Consultation fees may be credited toward a full design engagement entirely at the discretion of The Space Agency and subject to project scope. Certain consultation types, including express design reviews, may not qualify for credit.
On-Site Consultations
Where on-site consultations are requested, scheduling is subject to availability. Travel and logistics costs may apply and will be confirmed prior to scheduling.
3. Design Engagements
Full design engagements are governed by separate client agreements outlining project scope, deliverables, timelines, design fees, and payment terms. The Space Agency reserves the right to decline projects that do not align with the studio’s scope, availability, or creative direction.
4. Procurement & Sourcing Services
Procurement and sourcing services are offered as a standalone professional service, billed separately from design fees. Services may include sourcing furniture and décor, vendor coordination, ordering and tracking, quality checks, delivery coordination, and installation coordination.
Fee Structure
Procurement services are billed as a percentage of the total procurement value:
- 20% of procurement value – standard projects where items are sourced from approved specifications, coordination is straightforward, and minimal international logistics are required.
- 30% of procurement value – complex projects involving international sourcing, custom furniture or finishes, multiple vendor coordination, or complex shipping, customs, or logistics.
Procurement fees are calculated on the total value of goods sourced. All purchases must be approved by the client prior to ordering. These fees reflect professional expertise, coordination, and risk management, they are not retail markups. Construction costs are excluded unless explicitly stated in a project agreement.
5. Third-Party Vendors & Suppliers
TSA may coordinate purchases from third-party vendors, suppliers, or manufacturers. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure quality and reliability, TSA does not manufacture goods and is not responsible for supplier delays or manufacturing defects. Claims relating to defects may be subject to the relevant vendor’s policies and warranties.
6. Product Sales
The website may offer curated products including home décor, textiles, furniture, and styling accessories. All listings aim to provide accurate descriptions and imagery, though colours may vary depending on screen settings, and availability and pricing are subject to change without notice. Orders are subject to confirmation and stock availability.
7. Shipping & Delivery
Shipping timelines may vary depending on supplier availability, production timelines, logistics, customs, and delivery location. Estimated delivery timelines are not guaranteed.
8. Returns & Refunds
Unless otherwise stated, return requests must be made within 7 days of delivery, and items must be unused and in their original condition. Custom or made-to-order items may be non-returnable. Refunds are processed after inspection of returned items, and shipping costs may be non-refundable.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including project photography, interior designs, branding, graphics, copywriting, and website design, is owned by The Space Agency or its licensors. Content may not be reproduced, copied, or distributed without written permission.
10. Website Use
Users agree not to misuse the website, attempt to disrupt its functionality, or attempt unauthorised access to any systems. We reserve the right to restrict access in cases of misuse.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TSA shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of business or revenue, delays caused by suppliers or logistics providers, or project delays caused by contractors or third parties. Design recommendations constitute professional guidance; final implementation decisions remain the responsibility of the client and their contractors.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, unless otherwise agreed in a client contract.
